1 Years With Ascent
"Take pride in what you build"
I grew up in the Boston area so yes I am a Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots fan. Yes I talk funny, people are always asking me where I’m from because I don’t pronounce my "R’s". Sorry but in Boston we don’t have an R in the alphabet. I say Fenway Pahk and Boston Gahden. I moved to California in 1995. It took a while but I finally realized it’s easier to build stuff in nice weather.
My life revolves around family, it’s the most important thing to me. My wife Joelle and I moved to Sacramento from San Jose in 1999 and have two wonderful kids. We also have a Daughter on the east coast and a couple of grandchildren that bring us joy. These days our oldest Son is out on his own and we are hanging on to our daughter Mishelle’s last year of high school before we become empty nesters (party time). I almost forgot to mention the real king of the house, our Chihuahua Chico. He rules the house and is definitely a part of the family that brings us all great joy. Our Daughter has a cat named Boogie which she will be taking with her when she goes off to college.
We love to spend time together with family and friends, we are always having a barbeque or visiting friends and playing games, movies, karaoke.
My wife and I help out at Sunday school at our Church and love being with first and second graders.
One of the things we love to do most is visit Disneyland, it just never gets old and we love being there. The other thing we love to do is eat, we just love food, all kinds of food.
I came up through the trades working as a laborer for an excavation company where I eventually got to run some heavy equipment (big boy toys). I was an iron worker for a few years and although it was pretty tough work I really enjoyed it. I always had a desire to move up the ladder and learn as much as I could and I soon learned that being a Superintendent was what I was born to do.
I love working at Ascent, it’s great to be part of the Ascent Family and work with people that welcome you in to be a part of the team.
